4 People Sentenced in Jackson Auto Scam

JACKSON - Four people are headed to federal prison for using stolen identities to buy luxury vehicles across the Jackson area.
Prosecutors say the group used fake IDs to pose as credit-worthy individuals, applying for vehicle loans and trying to buy expensivecars. They traveled from Louisiana to Mississippi in a rental car to carry out the fraud.
Paul Robinson was sentenced to 46 months in prison. Sarah Calderon got 39 months. David Jones received 32 months, while Joshanique Bailey was sentenced to probation. A fifth defendant, Anna Waldei, is awaiting sentencing in August.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Secret Service and the Mississippi Attorney General’s Cyber Fraud Task Force.
